This 1987 Corvette is a true "Survivor"! The body, and drivetrain appears to be completely original and in very good condition. The interior has original seats and carpet and the proper patina for its age. A former owner updated the wheels to chrome spoke style. The car has been meticulously maintained and in the last 5 years has new tires, shocks, rotors and brakes. It also has a new style completely aluminum one-row radiator. It has new alternator, water pump, thermostat, Monroe cat back exhaust and new LED bulbs in the dash. Heater and Air Conditioning work great. Cruise control works. It has had the radio replaced with a newer version Kenwood and speakers installed in the doors. The top older but is in good shape and does not leak! There is some minor repair needed in the release mechanism for the convertible top. The windshield wipers work fine but only has one speed, fast, and the pull-down washer/cleaning swipe. (A new switch is $145 at Ecklers!) Windshield washer works. Lastly, the car has every manual that was provided to the original owner, in decent shape! Because of its age, it is not a race car. But it is a smooth, quick, fun car that looks and runs great and is a joy to drive! Since I bought the car in 2021, all work has been done by the local Chevrolet dealer by their Corvette specialist. If you want a junk C4 that will nickel and dime you to death, spend $5-6000 and get one. If you want a fun, well-maintained, good-looking cruiser, this is your car!
