1968 Convertible Engine: 327, 49K Miles, Color: RED with black interior.
all numbers matching, with a 350hp motor with less than 1k miles since rebuilt, car was completely stripped of old paint and repainted to a high gloss torch red, the car was never hit and all the body panels are original to the car. the body of the car is lasar straight and all the gaps are correct. i have a black vinyl hardtop that goes with the car it is in perfect condition the convertible top is black and near perfect condition, the carpet and rear storage compartment doors are brand new and the seats are perfect, there are no options on this car, the odometer shows 49k miles is it actual i don't no but the corvette shop that did the paint work seems to think it is actual. i have the original radio and the original intake manifold and the original 4-speed shifter that also goes with the car. any questions at all please email me or call me at 309-796-1121.

NOM 350ci engine, 4 speed manual transmission. This is a very affordable first year C3 that would make for an easy restoration. Body is straight and shows no obvious evidence of repairs. Paint is older with a good bit of orange peel and fading, but still looks good from a distance. Rear chrome is in good condition with few flaws; front shows a good bit of haze and should probably be replaced. Interior shows a good bit of wear all over, but nothing major. Convertible top is in overall good condition with no rips or tears and has a relatively clear window. Although the ignition shielding is missing, the engine compartment shows well and looks to have fresh paint on the block and intake. Additionally, a set of chrome Chevrolet valve covers have been added, along with a set of headers, and a Hurst shifter. Wheels are Corvette rallys with good trim rings and raised white letter Firestone Firehawk tires with plenty of tread. This car is nicely optioned and ready for fun!! Paint is very nice with minimum orange peel, but shows some stress cracking near the top of the fenders as well as the area surrounding the gas cap. Front chrome bumper is showing some haze and some scratches, but rears are in very good shape. Passenger exterior chrome door handle is faded, but the driver's side still shows well. Dash pad shows very nicely and looks nearly new. Convertible top is in relatively good condition with no major tears or rips, but the plastic window is showing some very slight haze. This car is fairly clean under the hood as well, with a recent remanufactured alternator. Ignition shielding is missing. An older Audiovox cassette deck now resides in the dash, which has unfortunately been cut to accomodate this unit. Features include power windows, air conditioning, power brakes, power steering. You can search high and low, but you will be hard-pressed to find a '68 convertible this nice with this many options at this low a price! The paint on this car is stunning, save for the common paint problem areas on this generation. There are three spots near the headlights that have bubbled up a bit, and there is also a small stress crack in the front clip near the driver's headlight. Otherwise, this paint is fantastic! Chrome bumpers are in excellent condition and appear to be new, as are the chrome door handles. Weatherstripping is also very nice and appears to be newer, along with the exterior emblems. The convertible top shows hardly any signs of wear, but unfortunately the plastic rear window has become brittle and has cracked in the bottom left corner. This car wears rally wheels with older trim rings and center caps showing some haziness. Tires are Goodyear Eagle GTII and show nearly 90% tread remaining. Interior shows seat covers in very good condition with no visible flaws, and excellent door panels, dash pad, center console, and steering wheel. Gauges are very nice as well with minimal fading and cloudiness, and even the clock works! GM seatbelts are in place and function well. Correct loop style carpet is also installed and looks great. Engine compartment is very clean and appears mostly stock, although the ignition shielding is missing. Carburetor is a correct appearing Rochester Quadrajet, which sits atop a GM intake. The a/c compressor shows a correct label, but appears to have been applied upside down. This car comes equipped with air conditioning, power windows, power brakes, power steering, AM/FM radio.
