1955 Convertible Engine: 265, 0 Miles, Color: Copper with Beige interior. THE VETTE NET.com – is a nationwide Corvette brokerage network and proud Lifetime Business Member of the National Corvette Museum. Thanks for stopping by to view this NCRS restored and quite rare Copper 1955 Corvette. If you are an admirer of vintage Corvettes, you know only 700 were produced that year. Here is number 285 and we are honored to present it for your review.
This Corvette has its original 265cu.in V8 engine (195hp) mated to the original 3-speed manual transmission. This is an extremely rare Corvette. In 1955, only 15 were ordered in Copper and VERY few were ordered with the 3-speed manual transmission.
The NCRS restoration was “frame-off” and completed in early 2008. It has been driven very little since then and looks just as fresh today. The Corvette is in excellent mechanical condition and the car handles, as you would expect. There were only eight options offered in 1955 according to the Corvette Black Book™. This “classic” has seven of those options. They are the AM Signal Seeking Radio, Directional Signals, Heater, Whitewalls, Parking Brake Alarm, Courtesy Lights, and Windshield Washers.
You are looking at a “seldom seen” 1955 Copper 3-Speed V8 Corvette that will make an excellent addition (investment) to your collection. I invite you to inquire about this historically significant vintage American sports car. No doubt you have many questions to ask me.
No matter where you live, delivery can be arranged anywhere worldwide at a reasonable cost. I am very experienced working with international Corvette enthusiasts and welcome all inquiries.

1957 Convertible Engine: 283, 38500 Miles, Color: Onyx Black/Inca Silver Coves with Red interior. We are here to assist with your online inspection of this remarkably original 38,500-mile (documented) 1957 Corvette. Thanks for stopping by.
If you have been searching for one of these ultra low mileage vintage Corvettes, you know they are very scarce and seldom advertised publicly. Here is number 2885 and I am honored to share its details with you.
This Corvette has its original engine with dual quads (283cu.in, 245hp) mated to the original Powerglide automatic transmission connected to its original differential. The frame is solid with no rust issues or repairs. All the body panels are original and show no signs of repair.
You can be the enviable fifth owner of this Onyx Black, Inca Silver, and red Corvette. The ownership history is documented and will be passed on to the next owner.
In 2006, the Corvette was correctly repainted using a base and clear coat finish. It is very nice. The interior is original and has held up very well. The soft top is also original as are most of the other components on the car.
You are looking at a “time capsule” Corvette that will make an excellent addition (investment) to your collection. I invite you to inquire about this historically significant vintage American sports car. No doubt you have many questions to ask me. A sizeable photo album is available for your viewing online.
No matter where you live, delivery can be arranged anywhere worldwide at a reasonable cost. I am very experienced working with international Corvette enthusiasts and welcome all inquiries.

1957 Convertible Engine: 283, 71017 Miles, Color: Black with Red interior. There is nothing quite like driving this beautiful '57 Vette
A Classic, California Car
Black with Silver Scoops
Red Interior
4 Speed
Original Hard & Soft Tops
Carburated 283 Small Block V-8
71,000 Miles
One of only 6,339 ever made, + only 2,189 in black (http://www.vettefacts.com/C1/1957.aspx)
Ready for Hot August Nights!
This is a fully restored, beautiful driver--not a trailer queen. It's ready to go. I just drove it from Tahoe to San Francisco (about 200 miles).
Recent Restoration Including:
1. Interior: New carpets, rebuilt/re-covered seats and door panels.
2. Paint: A showroom quality paint job. Windshield, trim, etc. were taken off to make the new paint seamless. The paint has a few very minor imperfections, namely the split marks on the dash (pictured), but basically still looks new.
3. Soft top: The original soft top frame was rebuilt/straightened, and the cover replaced.
4. Chrome: Bumpers, tail light surrounds, trim, etc. was all re-chromed.
5. Rebuilt carburetor.
The car has been very well cared for. Same local owner for the last 25 years who always garaged AND covered it in California, away from the ocean. (I am a friend of the owner + am listing the car for him. I have helped maintain it over the years.) He bought it for $25K from a private party in Stockton in '84. We don't know the car's history before then, but we think it's an original California car. We can't verify the miles are orig., but we've put about 4K on it in 25 yrs.
Car is almost all original, but we modified a few things, mostly in the interest of safety:
--Installed front disc brakes
--Updated the front suspension + sway bars
--Lap belts (were these original?)
--Hurst shift linkage, which I think Chevy started using in '58 anyway
Also, the previous owner rebuilt (or replaced) the motor. He said it is still the original block, but the numbers are illegible, so we don't know for sure. All the engine components (air cleaner, spark shroud, valve covers, carb, etc.) all seem to be original.
We should have the original front drums + shoes, shift linkage, and possibly front suspension, which will go with the car if I can find them.
This is a beautiful driver, not necessarily a Concourse show car, though I suppose it could be.
The '57 Vette is not only timeless and invigorating, it is a great investment.
Barrett-Jackson found that during the 10 years between Q1 '98 and Q1 '08, classic cars increased in value by a compound annual growth rate of 16%. During the same period, gold grew by 11% and the S&P 500 by 4%, & that was before the market crashed in Nov of '08. In this economy a classic car can be a great place to put your money. The cost of ownership is low, & the car pays you dividends every time you drive it. Do people give you thumbs up and take pictures when you take your 401K down the highway? http://classiccars.about.com/b/2008/10/15/barrett-jackson-says-collector-cars-beat-the-stock-market.htm

1957 Convertible Engine: 350ci, 4674 Miles, Color: Light Medici Red with Cream interior. FREE 5 YEAR/100K ADDITIONAL MILE WARRANTY, GOOD AT ANY REPAIR FACILITY NATIONWIDE! SEE MORE PHOTOS OF THIS VETTE AND 125+ OTHERS FOR SALE AT WWW.BUYAVETTE.NET! Light Medici Red exterior with Cream coves, Cream interior, Cream convertible top. 300hp LT1 engine, 6 speed manual transmission, posi rear-end. Love the way the straight axle Corvettes look but hate the way they drive? If that's the case, then someone has already built your perfect car for you! Commissioned by Jamison's Custom Corvette, Inc. in Charleston, South Carolina, this 1957 Corvette combines the classic looks of the first generation with the modern drivetrain and underpinnings of more recent Corvettes. This all-new tube chassis incorporates C4 suspension with a HAL coil-over shock conversion, C4 brakes, and power rack and pinion steering. The result is one of the smoothest riding, best handling straight axle restomods ever built! Not to mention that at an estimated 2,800 lbs, this Corvette packs a pretty hefty punch when the hammer is put down. Completed in 2003, no expense was spared in the build of this car, and only 4,674 miles have been logged since then. This car is so unique that it was featured in the February 2003 issue of Vette Vues magazine. Every nut and bolt is new, and the body is as straight as an arrow. The convertible top is constructed of a thick canvas material, and is much stronger than the original tops. The Cadillac-sourced paint is nothing short of jaw-dropping, with a brilliant mile deep shine and no apparent imperfections. Every piece of chrome has been redone, and the whitewalls and original style hubcaps add a nice classic touch. The interior of this 1957 Corvette Restomod shows plush leather seats finished in Cadillac colors again, and thick cut-pile carpeting. All gauges have been replaced with VDO units for increased accuracy and reliability. The air conditioning in this car blows hard and cold! A Sony cassette stereo has been added, and links to a 10 disc CD changer mounted in the trunk. The battery has also been relocated to the trunk to help with weight distribution. The LT1 engine looks right at home in this super-clean engine bay, and sports a set of coated longtube headers with Edelbrock mufflers for a throaty yet subdued classic sound. A reproduction 1957 owner's manual is included, with an added addendum at the back giving part numbers and color codes specifically for this car. We cannot stress enough how smooth this car drives, stops, and handles -- you would swear you're driving a modern Corvette! This truly is one of the finest straight axles on the market today! The seller of this car wants to quickly raise some capital, and has drastically reduced the price of this car! Features include air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power antenna, Sony cassette stereo with CD changer. FREE 5 YEAR/100K ADDITIONAL MILE WARRANTY!! REDUCED!! $105,000.
